English for Taxi Drivers
As global tourism increases, the need for taxi drivers to speak English becomes more and more important. After leaving the airport, taxi drivers are the first people that tourists meet in order to get them to the hotel. Taxi drivers don’t just drive tourists to the hotel, they are the first interaction tourists have with the country, offering suggestions on places to see and restaurants to eat at, along with many others.
This course is just for taxi drivers. You will learn basic sentences and words that each taxi driver should know. After the course, you will be able to communicate with tourists easily. You will feel much more ready for the taxi stands at the airport and touristic areas.
There are 23 units including many videos, interactive activities, vocabulary lists, and an assessment (exam) at the end of the course. Don't worry! The course requires no English skills to start.
Each taxi driver will get a Certificate of Participation. Those who finish the course with a result of 70 points will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion of Exam.
